I haven't posted anything new for a few days because I've been working on a couple of new ideas that have taken up what little time I've had to spend on writing. Developing ideas is all part of the process, of course, and ideas do not always come according to any kind of schedule. That is the bane of a writer's existence, especially if his work is to produce a regular column on a regular time schedule. Sometimes ideas seem to come in a flow, allowing time to get all the details down before the next one comes along. More often, though, there are long periods where the simplest story just refuses to present itself no matter how hard the writer tries to produce it. Then, in the middle of the night when trying to get a good night's sleep so he can be fresh for that new job in the morning, the creative juices begin to flood the mind with one idea after of another, and the failure to arise and start putting it all down on paper guarantees that every rich, novel new thought will be gone when the sun comes up.....
These are poems, stories, and personal commentaries about whatever I am going through in my life at the time. Please feel free to comment on anything that you read, as I love to hear from my readers. All written by Writer M Ray Holloway Jr.
